Almost a dozen....

Eleven months ago now I said I was going to try and make a charity blanket a month for a year. Well I haven't made one a month, but I have one more month to go and this marks 11. I think I can do it! The only problem is how to top myself next year. ;)

I give you Charity Blanket #11: Starry Starry Night

That is gorgeous! What charity does it go to--something where one could bid on it, maybe?

I love the star shape. Nice to see a change from the normal rectangle shapes we all do. Did you wing the pattern yourself?

I LOOSELY based the pattern on this one Beth's Little Star. I say loosely because the pattern has some odd terms, so I ended up using a slightly different start at the center.

What a great blanket. When the baby who gets it grows up, he/she is going to say, Wow, whoever knitted this for me had imagination as well as a heart full of love.

Yeah, I collect stars. Also sheep, llamas, and buttons. Not necessarily in that order.

Correction: whoever *crocheted* this for me...

No wonder your points were so pointy! [Yeah, I also crochet.]
