The mailman bringeth....

Lately I have been deluged with junk mail - catalogues of every size, shape, color and ilk. I suspect it may have something to do with the fact that I purchase online more and more frequently these days. But the Christmas catalogues that have been arriving daily are not just an annoyance, occasionally they provide entertainment of the strangest kind. So I'm starting a little series this month of weird and ugly gifts I find in catalogues that are threatening to overrun my house.

Specimen A: The littlest star. Can you see the therapy bills now?



Specimen B: Every little girl's fantasy: Butterfly cowboy boots that look suspiciously like Uggs. Have you seen anything so ugly?
