As the Pump Turns: Stardate 04.13.06 16:55

For the last week or so things have been pretty much status quo. The pump has been turning with 3 healthy triops. As the triops have grown bigger they have started laying eggs around the tank, eggs that should need to be dried out (by draining the tank) and then placed in a fresh aquarium to hatch. Apparently that plan is not always accurate - there are now 4 brand new babies swimming around.

I composed a Limerick in their honor:

Sweet Jesus there’s more of them hatched!
4 more Triops, who knew they were batched?
Poor WineGuy now what does he do?
Will the old ones fight with the new?
His itch for a tank, it’s been scratched.
